New Honda Jazz menjadi produk PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) yang laku keras dengan total penjualan 1.321 unit sepanjang bulan April 2009. Secara total, penjualan All New Honda Jazz di tahun ini telah mencapai 4.996 unit di seluruh Indonesia.
“Meskipun masih dini untuk menilai bahwa kondisi ekonomi di Indonesia sudah mengalami perbaikan, namun performa penjualan Honda terus mengarah ke trend tersebut. Tentunya selain ditopang oleh dasar kondisi ekonomi yang cukup kuat, peningkatan penjualan Honda juga dipengaruhi kepercayaan konsumen akan nilai dari kualitas yang ditawarkan mobil Honda. Kami yakin penguatan penjualan Honda akan terus berlanjut pada bulan-bulan berikutnya jika melihat inden yang masih ada,” ujar Marketing & Aftersales Service Director PT HPM Jonfis Fandy dalam siaran persnya, Selasa (5/5).
Sementara itu, tren peningkatan penjualan bulanan terus berlanjut bagi Honda hingga bulan April 2009. Setelah pada tiga bulan pertama terus mengalami peningkatan penjualan, pada bulan April lalu penjualan mobil Honda di Indonesia kembali meningkat sebesar 8,35%, yaitu dari 2.597 unit di bulan Maret menjadi 2.814 unit di bulan April lalu. Angka tersebut sekaligus menjadi yang tertinggi di sepanjang 4 bulan pertama tahun ini.
Secara total, Honda telah menjual sebanyak 9.803 unit mobil di seluruh wilayah Indonesia sejak Januari sampai dengan April 2009. Tak hanya secara total, penjualan sebagian besar produk Honda di masing-masing segmen juga ikut mengalami peningkatan.
Di antara seluruh produk Honda, All New CR-V mengalami peningkatan penjualan yang paling signifikan. Pada bulan April, Honda CR-V terjual sebanyak 1.061 unit, meningkat 310 unit atau 41,3% dibanding penjualan bulan sebelumnya yang tercatat sebanyak 751 unit. Hingga saat ini, penjualan CR-V di tahun 2009 telah mencapai 3.335 unit.
Selain CR-V, peningkatan penjualan yang cukup tinggi juga dicapai produk-produk sedan Honda. Penjualan All New City meningkat 47,1%, dari 157 unit di bulan Maret menjadi 231 unit di bulan April lalu. Angka tersebut menambah penjualan All New City di tahun ini menjadi sebesar 831 unit.
Sementara itu, penjualan Honda New Civic juga meningkat sebesar 20,7%, yaitu dari 116 unit pada bulan Maret menjadi 140 unit di bulan April. Dengan demikian, penjulanan New Civic sampai dengan saat ini sudah mencapai 407 unit.
Honda Accord melengkapi penjualan Honda di kelas sedan dengan total 59 unit di bulan April lalu. Hingga bulan April 2009, sebanyak 232 unit sedan premium dari Honda tersebut telah terjual di Indonesia.
Pada bulan April 2009 lalu juga tercatat penjualan Honda Odyssey sebanyak 2 unit.
