Maserati GranCabrio Sport, This naturally aspirated engine produces in this configuration 331 kW (450 horsepower) and has 510 Nm at the peak of its rich, thick torque curve. Maserati’s Friction Reduction Program has made the Maserati GranCabrio Sport’s engine more reactive to the driver’s most-nuanced inputs, while reaching a 6% reduction in fuel consumption. This six-speed transmission is equipped with the super-fast MC Auto Shift software and has been developed for the Maserati GranCabrio Sport directly from the transmission in the Quattroporte Sport GT S.

The Maserati Quattroporte 2030 Concept is Yaroslav Chumachenko's vision of where Maserati's large sedan could be design-wise should we end up in the world of Minority Report and Tom Cruise is knocking at your door for that crime you're about to commit.
Chumachenko, a 25-year old Ukrainian designer, drew inspiration from dinosaur skeletons, zeppelins, and the Maserati Birdcage to create a car that is futuristic and unique: its modular platform would allow engineers to replace the car's various systems as they evolve and the panels would be uniquely customizable for each customer (in theory).
Its curvaceous exterior body panels use "Stereolithography additive manufacturing technology", the benefits of which are a quick formation process and the ability to adapt to any customer's request, while the four doors - larger front units and smaller rears - can actually fuse magnetically to become two larger doors (or, conversely, simply open as smaller front doors and leave the rear doors in position).
Beneath its body panels, the Quattroporte 2030 has a backbone consisting of the engine and transmission (its "vertebrae"), around which is a rib cage that functions as structural reinforcement and protective bracing.
This is definitely a concept that would most definitely be welcome on the show circuit, hearkening back to the long overhang-wearing pods of the 70's. Something like this would be much more entertaining to view than these "concepts" companies release purely as a means of gauging public reaction to a production car.

Maserati is coming to India. For those of you who don’t know, Maserati is a subsidiary of a very famous Italian car brand. If you are still clueless, may be this will help – most people are fans of this stallion because of the racing legend Michael Schumacher. If you still don’t know which manufacturer I am talking about then it is time for you to open some general knowledge books! Also please note, Ferrari (Yes, Ferrari owns Maserati) is the luxury car division of the group FIAT.

Super car manufacturers do not get the thrill of the maximum speed up to these days. Everyone dreams about owning a car two-seater super horse with either jumping or a raging bull in front of the hood. When it comes to reality, one chooses a car or a slot hot these days for every day use.

Imagine going shopping or to send your children to school. Can drive two-seater such as the Porsche 911 super only when you give enough space for a child or some talent Nick from a supermarket in your local. In fact, the sports car of yesteryear is a great machine built it with the authority of well-balanced and accurate camel racing, but where is the practical application for daily leadership to bring your children home from school? Porsche, sports car known company based in Stuttgart and came out with the idea of a SUV. Porsche Cayenne is the answer to the daily use of the sports car, but wait a minute, is that not out of pocket rather than a sedan? Recently introduced for cars and face-lift Quattroporte, a sedan four-door luxury sports car. Engine with 400bhp in the hands of the driver, and this is the ultimate daily driver car enthusiast and want to drive his wife or children to the market or school. Four-door sedan that allows a wide space for passengers and a boot suitable for storage of materials. This is just the right to get a car for those looking for performance and luxury, and practical application. Forget the SUV, and car daily and practical high here, with being Maserati beginning of a trend.

After the success of the Quattroporte in the fact that cars a day, has recently unveiled the latest addition to Porsche families - hatchback sedan four doors. Called the Porsche Panamera, this is the answer to the wealthy families of four or less, and seats behind the bucket seats, in fact almost identical to that front, and a strong reminder of the Porsche sports itself. And based on Porsche Cayenne Panamera, that's just it sedan instead of an SUV. With engine options up to 4.8L to 400bhp, and this car 'family' is not ashamed to great racing heritage company of its own. Porsche plans to launch a hybrid model, the Panamera too and it will certainly be a blow to those who are in search for a hybrid sports car.

Very soon there will be a tendency for the family of super 'cars were going on with the practical application of the word in the minds of everyone. Manufacturers such as Lamborghini and Aston Martin has unveiled a super sedans already on the four doors, the Tags as well as the Aston Martin Rapide. Both race Genealogy and both sedan with four doors. This may help to transform the market a bit, and asked wealthy businessmen to start worrying about an extra seat or two for their families, growth, or perhaps as a limo luxury for a business trip the company at the airport - fast.

With all the major manufacturers began to move away from the production of super cars only, the company vault and their plan too. They have also renewed Ferrari California Classic to be the car daily - too bad it's still in spite of two-door.

Maserati Granturismo S Best Car
Women and men in sharp suits, because it shows the guy knows how to dress, and he is more inclined to take them to nice restaurants than sloppy food joints.

The Maserati Gran Turismo is a bit like a suit. The exquisite cut and tailored in a way that makes the wearer feel as secure as the latest Double O Seven makes in his Tom Ford.

The Gran Turismo S is basically the same stuff, just better. It not only makes the wearer look good, but also transforms him into an entirely new man, a sportsman himself.

The key to this increased flexibility is the engine. Displace 4.7 liters (versus 4.2 in the GT), GT S has much more grunt (40bhp and 30nm torque). Couple with the latest DueSelect gearbox, which is similar to Maserati's Ferrari F1 Superfast transmission, shifts are smooth and very, very quick with the changes taking only 100 milliseconds.

The front brake dics has been expanded and made use of a special "dual-cast" technology clamped by powerful six pot callipers. The suspension was also tuned to be a little more sporty than the 4.2 GT's.

Sum of all hardware is an entirely more intent machine comes to life at the touch of a button labeled Sport.

When activated, the transmission goes into quick shift mode and exhaust system releases. The shift mode and exhaust system releases. The smart smoking is now a smug race suit. The combination of beeps barreled motor sound with the anger firing on all gear is bound to have an effect on the driver.

Suddenly the drive home will be a lot more exciting. One is Daniel Craig running away from a pursuing Alfa Romeo in the tunnel, except unlike Aston Martin in the opening scene of the latest Bond film, Quantum Of Solace, the Maserati has its doors intact.

Also intact is the GT S's ambitions as a grand tourer. Measuring nearly 4.9m (longer than a BMW 5 series) with a corresponding long wheelbase, its ride quiet and serene.

Although twisty roads is not a problem, but prefer long sweeping corners, where power and size afford it plenty of pace and poise.

When Sport is deactivated, the engine calms down considerably (the deep V8 Rumble are still satisfyingly audible) and shifting morph from being a fast and angry that something that is much smoother, if not entirely smooth as in a conventional automatic transmission.

Because of reliability problems and rough shifting with the Ferrari based semi-automatic transmission, a full automatic transmission with 6 speeds (by ZF) was presented at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2007 with the first cars delivered right after the launch, marketed as the Maserati Quattroporte Automatica.

The Automatica was made available with paddle-shifters on the Sport GT model as standard, but on the base model and the Executive trim levels paddles became an optional extra.

With the Automatica, Maserati completely redesigned the under pinning of the car to fit the new conventional automatic transmission and torque converter right behind the engine. They also converted to a wet sump oiling system for cost saving purpose
